How long does trail mix last?
Trail mix keeps its quality for about 6–9 months because the nuts in it go rancid; refrigeration extends that.
| Trail Mix | |
|---|---|
| Unopened | 6–9 months |
| Opened | 1–2 months airtight |
| Ideal storage | Cool and airtight; the fridge or freezer for long holding. |

- Mold, especially on dried fruit and soft bars
